02 / The workspace

One reviewed record.
A clearer financial picture.

Wallets, banks, exchanges and books, brought into one workspace. Keep the record current as the month unfolds, so your next report starts with the numbers in place.

03 / Reports

Your financial story.
Ready to share.

A complete report. A focused update. The same reviewed record.

Keep the detail in your report. Turn selected figures or a section into a branded snapshot, arranged for a feed and stamped with its capture time and report version. Share it on X or Telegram.

An illustrative Meridian Labs report for August: a cover with the headline figures, an overview, a performance section with a revenue and expenses chart, and a treasury breakdown. The cover is snapshotted as an image and posted on X; the performance section is snapshotted and posted to a Telegram channel.

04 / How it works

Less reconstruction.
More perspective.

From scattered activity to a record you can report from, in three steps that repeat every month.

Bring in the records you have

Connect source activity or import existing books.

  • QuickBooks, Xero or Excel, if you have books.
  • Or activity from the wallets, banks, exchanges and custodians your organization uses.
  • Mark which accounts belong to the business, so transfers between them are not counted twice.
  • Add selected Dune metrics when operating activity helps explain the financial results.

Example connected sources: Solana wallets, an exchange account, a business bank account, imported QuickBooks records and selected Dune protocol metrics.

02 / 03

Keep the record current

Classify activity as it comes in.

  • Revenue, expenses, transfers and capital movements are sorted for you.
  • Unclear transactions enter Needs Review.
  • A weekly Telegram summary prompts designated teammates to confirm them or leave them open while they investigate.

An illustrative weekly Telegram message asks reviewers to check seven items across three accounts. Transfers and unidentified vendor payments remain open until reviewed.

See how the business is performing

Use the reviewed record to see the business.

  • Revenue, expenses, cash and treasury, with data coverage visible.
  • Month-on-month trends and runway at the current burn.
  • Relevant operating measures alongside the financials where they add context.

Demo revenue $412k, expenses $294k and approximately 14 months of runway. Stress scenario: no inflows, flat monthly expenses of $294k. Liquid assets only; native tokens excluded. Liabilities are settled within forecast outflows.

05 / Forecasting

See how a decision
changes your runway.

Start from the reviewed record, not a spreadsheet copy of it.

Change the assumptions that matter, such as hiring, revenue or a period with no inflows, and see how long liquid assets last. Every scenario states what it assumes.

06 / Token reporting

A token view
when you need one.

Teams with a live token can add relevant token modules to the same financial picture.

Choose which of these to keep internal and which to include in an investor or public report. Teams without a token can use the core financial record and reports.

Pricing scales with the complexity of your accounts, transactions, sources and reporting needs. We confirm the monthly scope and any setup or backfill work with you before you begin.

09 / FAQ

Frequently
asked questions.

(001)Do we need existing books?

No. You can start with activity from the accounts your organization uses and build a management record from the sources in scope. If you have books, OpenBooks can use them as an input.

(002)Does OpenBooks do accounting or taxes?

OpenBooks supports management reporting and planning. Formal accounting, accruals, tax and statutory sign-off remain with your accountant or adviser. Views built from source activity should state their basis and coverage.

(003)Is anything public by default?

No. The working record is private. Your team chooses what to publish, to whom and when; selected approved measures may update between reports when supported by their source and settings.

(004)Do we need a token to use OpenBooks?

No. The core financial record and reports work for any onchain organization. Teams with a live token can add supply, treasury and holder modules where relevant.

(005)How much of our time does it take each month?

Most of the work happens during the month: designated reviewers confirm open items from a weekly summary. At period end you choose sections, add explanations and approve the report. Setup and any historical backfill are scoped separately before you begin.

OpenBooks is a standalone reporting workspace. 01Resolved helps investors understand value-accruing onchain assets. Teams with token listings on 01Resolved may choose to publish approved OpenBooks information there. You do not need a token or an 01Resolved listing to use OpenBooks.
